Vaseegaran handled the cinematography. The story unfolds with the story of a leading lawyer in town-Bhavani Devi who fights for social justice. As the serial proceeds, another character Sawmya isintroduced in the story is engaged to Babu.One fine day Sawmya is abducted by some evildoers while returning from her office and the next day is found lying unconscious on a lonely road. While the police accuse poor Sawmya of drug abuse, Bhavani Devi helps her gain justice for herself.

Meanwhile, Babu and his family disown Sawmya, who then marries a journalist Manoj. Manoj’s family rejects Sawmya, but his sister Ahalya who is a smart independent lady accepts them. Sundarma also gets to know about thel relationship between his brother and Ahalya and the matter eventually goes out of control. Ultimately, Ahalya leaves the house with her daughter and sets on a journey of her own. Then the serial is all about how Ahalya finds justice for herself and how she struggles to be a self-independent, motivated woman as she'd always wanted to be.
